Is there a limit on how much weight I can put in the dumpster?
Yes, Dumpster weights are measured in tons. Going over the limit allowed for your dumpster will cause overweight charges.
How many pounds are in a ton?
There are 2,000 pounds in a ton.
Do I need to be there when my dumpster is delivered?
No just make sure there are no vehicles or anything else blocking the area where the Dumpster is to be placed.
What item cannot be put in the dumpster?
Flammable or Ignitable Waste ( including ashes, fuel, kerosene, motor oil, lighter fluid, etc.). Paint and Paint Thinners. Batteries ( including Lithium Ion batteries, car batteries, larger batteries for tools, and toys such as ride in cars or trucks for children). Any appliance that requires Freon ( air conditioners, refrigerators, etc.). Hot water tanks, propane tanks, and oxygen tanks. Ammunition and fire extinguishers.
